Call For Participation

Overview

The ICAPS Doctoral Consortium offers doctoral students in planning, scheduling and related areas a unique and valuable experience that includes networking with and the mentorship of senior researchers in the field, career guidance, research skill advice, and accelerated cohesion with the ICAPS community.

Description

Planned activities for this year's DC include small focus groups on topic areas (led by mentors), invited talks on research skills and career development, and a poster session open to the conference. Partial travel support will be provided to participants.

Note that this year's DC will be held on a separate day, the 11th (while workshops and tutorials begin on the 12th), so that participating in the DC will not clash with any workshop or tutorial.

Application Instructions

Applicants must submit:

  • A dissertation abstract (not a paper) of at most 6 pages, using AAAI style.
  • A CV.
  • A short recommendation letter from PhD supervisor verifying applicants enrollment in a PhD program.
